Catworth Art Club ...

Catworth Art Club was the brainchild of Gordon Reffin who through his drive and enthusiasm created a forum for budding artists in the village to pick up a brush and paint. Whilst Gordon preferred oils the group included water colourists and sketchers. Once Gordon decided he was past being able to sit for hours on end the group was put on hold.
Sadly Gordon died in 2023 and the group was wound up with £360 in the bank. At the request of Vivien Reffin this is to be used to enhance the Village Hall where Gordon spent many happy hours brush in hand. There will be a new noticeboard dedicated to Gordon's memory.
Gordon appears in the foreground of the first picture below and also alongside Mark in the second picture.
